Epstein barr virus associated Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma

Background: The Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) has been linked to a variety of B-cell lymphomas, including Burkitt lymphoma (BL), classical Hodgkin (cHL), and diffuse large (DLBCL), at rates ranging from 5 10% DLBCL cases >95% in endemic BL. Methods: Present study conducted AL-Najaf Holy City; it is cross sectional study. All patients were recruited Middle Euphrates Cancer Research Unit Laboratory, pre-existing samples. Tissues collected the previously mentioned laboratory fixed formalin placed cassette before being embedded paraffine. tissues examined diagnosed as with disease. Eighty samples subjected present group was formerly paraffin imbedding blocks. Molecular analysis also used detection EBV-LMP-1 Gene. Histopathological examination using hematoxylin eosine stain (H&E) then examining under light microscope check for protein twenty block lymphoma. Results: result current revealed that marker found 12.5% had by PCR IHC.
